Business Central and Plur-e terms used across the site and the docs, with the Spanish equivalents we use.
Quick answer
This glossary defines the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Plur-e terms that appear across the product pages and documentation: warehouse documents, item tracking, journals, setup fields, printing and Model Context Protocol vocabulary. Each entry links to the page where the term is used.
Warehouse and inventory
- Warehouse ReceiptSpanish: Recepción de almacén
- Business Central document used to receive purchase or transfer order lines at a location that requires receiving. Plur-e fills quantities and item tracking from scans and posts it. Read more
- Put-awaySpanish: Ubicación (put-away)
- The step after receiving in which items are moved to their storage bins. Registered as a Warehouse Put-away in Business Central. Read more
- BinSpanish: Bin
- The smallest storage position inside a Business Central location with advanced warehouse configuration. Identified by a Bin Code. Read more
- Bin-to-bin movementSpanish: Movimiento entre bins
- Moving a quantity of an item from one bin to another inside the same location. Business Central records it as a Warehouse Movement or a reclassification. Read more
- Warehouse ShipmentSpanish: Envío de almacén
- Document that groups sales or transfer order lines to be shipped from a location. Posting it ships the source documents. Read more
- Warehouse PickSpanish: Pick de almacén
- Instruction listing which items to take from which bins for a shipment or production order. Registered from Plur-e Mobile after scanning. Read more
- PackageSpanish: Paquete
- A group of picked items prepared for a carrier. Plur-e creates packages inside the pick and can send them to ShipStation. Read more
- License Plate (LP)Spanish: License plate (LP)
- A label identifying a handling unit (pallet, tote, carton) and everything on it. Business Central has no native LP; Plur-e adds LP records on receipts and picks. Read more
- Item Tracking (serial / lot)Spanish: Seguimiento de artículo (serie / lote)
- Business Central feature that records serial or lot numbers per unit. The Item Tracking Code on the item decides when numbers are required. Read more
- Physical Inventory JournalSpanish: Diario de inventario físico
- Journal where counted quantities are compared with calculated quantities and posted as positive or negative adjustments. Read more
- Cycle countSpanish: Conteo cíclico
- Counting a subset of items on a schedule (counting periods) instead of the whole warehouse at once. Read more
- Counting PeriodSpanish: Periodo de conteo
- Business Central setup that defines how often an item or SKU must be counted; drives Calculate Counting Period. Read more
- Batch (journal)Spanish: Sección de diario
- A named set of journal lines. Plur-e uses batches for inventory counts (overwritten by the count) and for payment methods. Read more
- Assigned User IDSpanish: ID de usuario asignado
- Field on warehouse documents that names the employee responsible. Plur-e shows a user only the documents assigned to them. Read more
- Get Source DocsSpanish: Obtener documentos de origen
- Action on a warehouse shipment or receipt that pulls in released source orders. Read more
- UPC / EANSpanish: UPC / EAN
- Retail item barcodes. Business Central stores them as Item References; Plur-e scans them to add lines. Read more
Sales and payments
- Sales OrderSpanish: Pedido de venta
- Agreement to deliver goods under set terms. Created from Plur-e Mobile with partial or complete shipment. Read more
- Sales Return OrderSpanish: Pedido de devolución de venta
- Document that receives goods back from a customer and leads to a credit memo. Read more
- Sales Credit MemoSpanish: Abono de venta
- Document that reverses or corrects a posted sales invoice. Read more
- Posted Sales InvoiceSpanish: Factura de venta registrada
- An invoice already posted in Business Central. Plur-e lists unpaid ones for payment and paid ones for printing. Read more
- Salespeople/PurchasersSpanish: Vendedores/Compradores
- Business Central list of salesperson codes. A mobile sales user must be linked to one. Read more
- General Journal Template / BatchSpanish: Plantilla / sección de diario general
- Plur-e payment methods are General Journal Batches under a template named Payments, each with a balancing account and a Payment Method Code. Read more
- Payment Method CodeSpanish: Código de forma de pago
- Business Central code that identifies how a customer pays; linked to a journal batch. Read more
Setup and administration
- Assisted SetupSpanish: Configuración asistida
- Business Central page listing setup wizards. Plur-E Setup lives there. Read more
- Grant ConsentSpanish: Conceder consentimiento
- Microsoft Entra ID approval that lets the Plur-e application call Business Central for the tenant. Read more
- Number SeriesSpanish: Series numéricas
- Numbering assigned to documents created by Plur-e Mobile; pre-selected in the setup wizard. Read more
- Allow HttpClient RequestsSpanish: Permitir solicitudes HttpClient
- Extension setting in Business Central that allows outbound calls; required for Plur-e. Read more
- Admin CenterSpanish: Admin Center
- Plur-e's web console for environments, subscription, users, roles, printers, documents, payments and shipments. Read more
- EnvironmentSpanish: Entorno
- A Business Central production or sandbox tenant environment where the Plur-e extension is installed. Read more
Printing
- Printer KeySpanish: Printer Key
- Token generated when a printer is registered in the Admin Center and pasted into Plur-e Printer to link them. Read more
- Format PrinterSpanish: Formato de impresora
- Printer type selected when registering a printer (label, receipt, document). Read more
- ZPLSpanish: ZPL
- Zebra Programming Language, the label format used by Zebra and compatible printers. Read more
AI and MCP
- MCP (Model Context Protocol)Spanish: MCP (Model Context Protocol)
- Open protocol through which an AI client such as Claude calls tools published by a server — for example Plur-e MCP for Business Central. Read more
- Tool (MCP)Spanish: Herramienta (MCP)
- A function with a JSON schema that an MCP client can call; for example get_availability. Read more
- Scope (read / write)Spanish: Ámbito (lectura / escritura)
- Whether a tool only reads data or can create or change records; write tools can require approval. Read more
- Chat Bot AssistantSpanish: Chat Bot Assistant
- Plur-e's chatbot inside Business Central, connected to OpenAI and fed by imported documents. Not the same as Plur-e MCP. Read more
