Business Central setup for Sales
What to configure in Business Central before a rep uses the Plur-e Sales module — sales permissions, Salespeople/Purchasers and number series.
Quick answer
Give the user sales permissions, add them to Salespeople/Purchasers, link that code to the mobile user in the Admin Center and confirm the sales number series selected in the Plur-E Setup wizard.
Permissions Assign a permission set that can create and edit sales documents (for
example D365 SALES DOC, EDIT).
Salespeople/Purchasers Open Salespeople/Purchasers and create a code for the
rep. Plur-e stamps it on every document the rep creates.
Link the user In the Admin Center, edit the
user and choose that salesperson code.
Number series Open Plur-E Setup and confirm the series for sales orders,
return orders, invoices and credit memos.
In Business Central
Plur-e creates standard sales documents. Posting rules, discounts, prices and taxes come from your Business Central setup, not from the app.
