Barcodes and scanning
What Plur-e Mobile scans — item UPC/EAN, serial and lot numbers, bin codes, license plates — with the device camera or a Zebra scanner.
Quick answer
Plur-e reads item barcodes (UPC/EAN or the item number), serial and lot numbers, bin codes and license plate labels with the phone camera or a Zebra scanner. Barcodes must match the values stored in Business Central (Item References for UPC/EAN).
| Code | Where it is used | Business Central source |
|---|---|---|
| Item UPC / EAN | Sales lines, receipts, picks, counts | Item References (barcode type) or Item No. |
| Serial number | Serialized items on receipt, pick, count | Item Tracking Lines |
| Lot number | Lot-tracked items | Item Tracking Lines |
| Bin code | Put-away, movements, counts | Bins at the location |
| License plate | Receipt, pick | Plur-e LP record |
Tips
- Print bin labels and LP labels with Plur-e Printer.
- On Zebra devices, enable keyboard wedge or DataWedge output to the app.
