Business Central has no native license plate. Here is what an LP is, why warehouses want it, and how Plur-e adds LPs to warehouse receipts and picks without customizing the ERP.

A license plate (LP) is a label that identifies a pallet, tote or case and everything inside it. Business Central does not have a native LP object; Plur-e adds it as an app-side record that groups received items and can be assigned to a warehouse pick, so operators move and ship a whole unit with one scan while Business Central keeps its standard documents.

A license plate is a unique identifier printed on a label and attached to a handling unit — a pallet, a tote, a carton. The system knows which items, quantities, lots and serials are on that unit. Scanning the LP therefore means "everything on this pallet" without scanning each case.
Uses:
Business Central has bins, item tracking (lot, serial, package number) and warehouse documents. It does not have a handling-unit object. Some partners approximate LPs with package numbers or with customizations; both change the ERP.
Plur-e keeps the ERP standard and adds LP records on the app side:
UPC, enter the quantity, scan serials if the item is serialized, and Save. Repeat per pallet. List LP shows them all; items can be removed from a plate before posting.

Warehouse Pick** selects the LP that fulfils the lines. Register the pick and post the shipment as usual.
