Printing troubleshooting
Fixes for the most common Plur-e printing problems — name mismatch, inactive Printer Key, service not running, Bluetooth permission, remote printers.
Quick answer
Most printing failures come from a printer name that differs from Windows, a Printer Key not activated in Plur-e Printer, the desktop service not running, or a missing Bluetooth permission on Android.
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Printer not listed in the app | Not created or not active in the Admin Center | Create/activate it under Printers |
| Job sent, nothing prints | Name differs from Windows | Rename in the Admin Center to the exact Windows name |
| Job sent, nothing prints | Printer Key not activated | Paste the key in Plur-e Printer and activate the service |
| Job sent, nothing prints | Plur-e Printer closed or PC asleep | Start the app; keep the PC awake |
| Bluetooth printer not found | App lacks Bluetooth permission | Android → Apps → Plur-e → Permissions → Bluetooth |
| Remote printer needed | Local-only setup | Contact support for remote printing instructions |
| Installer blocked | Antivirus | Temporarily disable it or add an exception, run as administrator |
